Hello there! I’m a queer Minnesota-based illustrator who specializes in children’s illustration, comics, character design, and toy design. I attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fl, graduating with a BFA in Illustration in 2023.

 

Growing up I’ve always felt a little different, which I think is something that every weird little artist can relate to. I grew up ripping pages out of graphic novels and taping them to my wall. I’ve never outgrown my fascination with cartooning-- in a way, the comics I read helped me discover who I was. If I had one wish, it would be to have the same influence on other weirdos (big and small) that other cartoonists have had on me.

 

If I were to describe my style, I’d consider it a melting pot of looney tunes, vintage valentine cards, and cats… with a hint of tongue-in-cheek cynicism.

 

I have experience working with RCAD to create comics promoting their illustration program, collaborating with the Smithsonian American Art Museum to highlight their outstanding library of female artists, and currently freelance part-time in toy design.
